Run Time Tracking & Equalization of Compressors

Phased Starting of Compressors

Weekly Scheduler with Real Time Clock*

This feature enables the user to schedule on-off operation of the unit 4 times a day for a week including holiday scheduling. Rust & Corrosion Prevention

The new drain tray design of the Takumi Series uses fire retardant PS material which makes it corrosion free & also light in weight. The imported corrosion resistant Super Dyma galvanized sheets are used in the IDUs. These materials ensure longer life of the indoor units especially for installation in coastal areas.

Multiple Compressors with Independent Refrigerant Circuits

Most of the units have multiple compressors with independent refrigerant circuit that ensure uninterrupted operations.

Part Load Operation

When the room temperature is closed to set temperature, the microprocessors automatically in a phased manner. This feature not only provides uniform cooling but also saves energy significantly at part load operations.

Service Friendly

The self diagnostic function automatically diagnoses a host of faults and guides the service team in getting to the core of the problem as quickly as possible. The system also stores information pertaining no previous 10 faults providing the team a history of faults as well.

Higher Energy Efficiency & Optimum Cooling With 3 Speed Condenser Fan Motor*

The ambient conditions vary depending upon season, city & time of the day. As the ambient temperature increases, the compressor derating happens. This leads to a loss in efficiency. To counter this problem Hitachi has introduced 3 speed fan motor in the outdoor unit. This automatically senses the ambient temperature and adjusts the fan speed accordingly. For example, incase of increase in the ambient temperature, the fan speed increases which minimize de-rating of the compressor capacity & that is why cooling capacity of the air-conditioner almost remains unaffected. Also in case of low ambient temperatures, the fan speed is reduced to a low level to suit your cooling requirement thereby ensuring lower power consumption.

Optional Accessories

UV Lamp & Ventilation for Healthy Indoor Air Quality

With the selection & continuous operation of germicidal UV lamp, bacteria can be killed in an hours time. This features provides healthy indoor air quality and also enhances the efficiency of the unit by reducing frequent choking of the cooling coil due to no bacteria growth. Also, there is a key in the controller that activates motorized fresh air damper to maintain low levels of C02, thus providing a complete healthy environment.

Drain Pump

With the selection of this features in the new Takumi Series, condensate water drains out quickly which avoids spill over of water on to the false ceiling. Due to this, the false ceiling not only remains clean but growth of fungus is also restricted. Usage of drain pump also removes the U-trap gradient of the drain pipe which in turn provides the benefit of higher false ceilings. Inaddition to the condensate water when IDUs are installed in the basement.
