Space Creator
Hitchi presents the Takumi Series – a revolutionary new design of
indoor unit that gives you 27% more vertical space your ceiling designs.
Now, you can install the indoor unit with specially designed mountings
directly on to the ceiling that helps in reducing the height of
installing then with hangers. Now get more ceiling that helps in
reducing the height instead of installing them with hangers. Now get
more ceiling heights for your designs.

Auto Climate Technology (ACT)*
With this technology, the AC recognizes which city you are in and the
time of day, thereby offerings you optimal cooling at all times. The
microprocessor intelligently senses the cooling requirement &
accordingly adjusts the number of compressors in operation. Auto Climate
Technology (ACT) is a super-advanced intelligent feature that has
temperature & humidity data of over 100 Indian cities fed into it
for your convenience & comfort. And based on these factors, it
continuously changes the setting of AC to provide you the most
comfortable environment, while functioning most efficiently, at the
touch of a button.

Run Time Tracking & Equalization of Compressors
The microprocessor displays & controls run time of each
compressor. The compressors are sequenced automatically so that run
hours of all compressors are equal. This ensures that no single
compressor is subject to extra wear and tear and thus provides longer
life due to uniform operation.
User Friendly LCD Remote Control Handset
The new LCD panel of the Takumi Series displays all the operating
parameters of machine simultaneously to enable the user to control the
desired settings.
Phased Starting of Compressors
The microprocessor provides a delay time of 15 seconds between start
up of compressors. This not only controls the inrush current but also
related voltage fluctuations, ensuring safety of all equipment.
Other Inbuilt Features
Weekly Scheduler with Real Time Clock*
This feature enables the user to schedule on-off operation of the
unit 4 times a day for a week including holiday scheduling. Also in case
of a power failure, available memory back-up in the remote shall
restore settings as per the real time clock. With this feature, no user
intervention is required to stop/start the unit before or after the
holidays.

Flexibility of Remote Cord Length
A maximum of 500 meters cord length can be used which provides easy access even from remote locations.
Reliability
The microprocessor protects the air conditioner from low suction
pressure, single phasing, reverse phasing, over/under voltage &
current. Also the use of imported corrosion resistant Super Dyma
galvanized sheets enhances the life of indoor units.
High Ambient Design for 52oC Outdoor Air Temperature
Designed for high ambient conditions, these units guarantee reliable
operations even at 52C outdoor air temperature. Apart form many other
reliability tests, the units have been tested for “Maximum Overload”
condition at 52C in our ‘Stage Of The Art’ test labs. “Maximum Overload”
test is being done to check for any abnormality in operation of units
at our units are that all the operating parameters are within
permissible limits & no tripping of unit.
Noise Free Ambience
The indoor units of the Takumi Series have a special thermo-acoustic
insulation which reduces the noise drastically. Also due to the absence
of the compressor in the indoor unit, the noise levels are further
reduced.
Rust & Corrosion Prevention
The new drain tray design of the Takumi Series uses fire retardant PS
material which makes it corrosion free & also light in weight. The
imported corrosion resistant Super Dyma galvanized sheets are used in
the IDUs. These materials ensure longer life of the indoor units
especially for installation in coastal areas.
Multiple Compressors with Independent Refrigerant Circuits
Most of the units have multiple compressors with independent refrigerant circuit that ensure uninterrupted operations.
High Airflow Delivery at High Static Pressure
The new Takumi Series units use dynamically & statically balanced
indoor fans, which can deliver the supply air through longer length of
ducts.
Part Load Operation
When the room temperature is closed to set temperature, the
microprocessors automatically in a phased manner. This feature not only
provides uniform cooling but also saves energy significantly at part
load operations.
Service Friendly
The self diagnostic function automatically diagnoses a host of faults
and guides the service team in getting to the core of the problem as
quickly as possible. The system also stores information pertaining no
previous 10 faults providing the team a history of faults as well.
Other Features
Convertible ODU Design*
The outdoor unit of the Takumi Series now comes with a convertible
design to suit your requirements. The same outdoor unit can be installed
either for side discharge or top discharge according to your
convenience and space availability.

Higher Energy Efficiency & Optimum Cooling With 3 Speed Condenser Fan Motor*
The ambient conditions vary depending upon season, city & time of
the day. As the ambient temperature increases, the compressor derating
happens. This leads to a loss in efficiency. To counter this problem
Hitachi has introduced 3 speed fan motor in the outdoor unit. This
automatically senses the ambient temperature and adjusts the fan speed
accordingly. For example, incase of increase in the ambient temperature,
the fan speed increases which minimize de-rating of the compressor
capacity & that is why cooling capacity of the air-conditioner
almost remains unaffected. Also in case of low ambient temperatures, the
fan speed is reduced to a low level to suit your cooling requirement
thereby ensuring lower power consumption.

Optional Accessories
UV Lamp & Ventilation for Healthy Indoor Air Quality
With the selection & continuous operation of germicidal UV lamp,
bacteria can be killed in an hours time. This features provides healthy
indoor air quality and also enhances the efficiency of the unit by
reducing frequent choking of the cooling coil due to no bacteria growth.
Also, there is a key in the controller that activates motorized fresh
air damper to maintain low levels of C02, thus providing a complete
healthy environment.
Drain Pump
With the selection of this features in the new Takumi Series,
condensate water drains out quickly which avoids spill over of water on
to the false ceiling. Due to this, the false ceiling not only remains
clean but growth of fungus is also restricted. Usage of drain pump also
removes the U-trap gradient of the drain pipe which in turn provides the
benefit of higher false ceilings. Inaddition to the condensate water
when IDUs are installed in the basement.
